Joseph Beach Leader/Guitarist
Joe started playing guitar at the tender age of 12. At that time, he experienced a life changing event when he and a life long friend were deposited at the doors of the iconic Auditorium Theatre to see the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Needless to say…Joe’s life was never the same. With the ever present question nagging his young mind..”How the heck did he do that?” Joe made it his life’s work to find out.
On that musical journey, Joe has toured the country. Outside the US, Joe played several weeks in Acupaulco and other countries soaking in the world of Rock and Roll in a hard riding way that most men only dream of. As guitarist for the legendary band Tyrant as well as being part of a revisitation of the iconic Shadows of Knight, Joe has devoted his life to his craft. Performing in and leading many successful bands since then, he devoted his energies to the Rolling Crow Brothers Band just prior to the pandemic fiasco. Undaunted by the virus he selected the perfect band mates, working and rehearsing with them to mold the Rolling Crows. The Rolling Crow Brothers are dedicated to keeping alive a style of Rock and Roll quickly becoming a lost art…From the Stones, to the Faces, to the Doors to the Allman Brothers to the Black Crowes and the J. Geils Band… The Rolling Crow Brothers deliver an up tempo, hard charging song selection guaranteed to charging fast beating hearts and foot stomping abandon.
On his quest for the “Holy Grail” of guitar tone, Joe has met very few guitars and amplifiers he didn’t like. They have all been recruited to his personal collection to assist him in emulating the kind of Rock and Roll that exemplifies the Rolling Crow Brothers repertoire.
Besides rehearsing, recording and performing with the Rolling Crow Brothers, Joe spends many blissful hours in the home he built with the love of his life and his canine companion Otis.
